This season, CN Rail is sponsoring a community ticket program that recognizes people who volunteer their time for the betterment of their community and special causes.

The team donates Spitfire home game tickets or selected memorabilia items to help local charitable organizations with their requested events/causes.

The Windsor Spitfires and Koonar Physiotherapy, have teamed up to offer 34 children the oppportunity to become a Windsor Spitfire Junior Reporter for the 2011-2012 Season.

The Release Program aims to strengthen ties within the community by providing departing patients of the Windsor Regional Hospital Children's Ward with tickets to regular season home games.

During every Windsor Spitfires Regular Season Home Game, the Spitfires and Tim Horton's invite a local minor hockey team to play a 4 minute mini-game during one of the home game intermissions.

The Windsor Spitfires and the Home Depot annually collaborate to offer one local minor hockey team the opportunity to hold a practice at the WFCU Centre with Spitfire players and coaches.

Tthe Sutherland Global Services’ Mickey Renaud Memorial Scholarship Fund awards $3,000 to a male and a female athlete in Windsor, Essex County or Chatham-Kent.
